Management of Non-EU Goods and International Logistics for Mallorca
At Evolution, we are celebrating the official approval to operate a Temporary Storage Facility (ADT) in Mallorca.
This is a significant milestone, as our Customs Warehouse and our ADT will be coexisting and share the same space, allowing us to offer greater logistics value and, above all, increased customs efficiendy for all non-EU goods. By combining both regimes, we can also offer the possibility of changing the Customs regime within the same facility.
What is an ADT?
An ADT (AlmacĆ©n de DepĆ³sito Temporal) is a customs-approved warehouse where goods from outside the EU can be stored under customs control for up to 90 days.
These warehouses are designed to ensure compliance with customs regulations, facilitating customs clearance, document verification and adherence to legal requirements, preventing delays, penalties or legal problems related to goods transport.
Goods remain in the facility until they are assigned to a final customs procedure, which means duties and taxes do not need to be paid immediately, offering greater flexibility and improving supply chain and customs processes.
What an ADT Warehouse allows:

Additionally, they reduce airport storage costs making possible for customs operations to be carried out in Mallorca, without the need to transfer them to the mainland, as itās now possible to consign transits directly to our facilities on the island.

- A major improvement: Consigning T1s (Customs Transit Document) directly to our ADT: One of the biggest advantages is that T1 transit documents can now be sent directly to our facility. Trucks carrying goods under T1 no longer need to stop at the port for manual customs checks. Instead, shipments can be automatically linked to our ADT, allowing direct transfer to our warehouse.
This change will make operations much faster and smoother, reducing waiting times and improving efficiency for all shipments arriving in Palma under T1 procedures. For our clients, this means better service and a faster delivery of goods on board their vessels.
