The Origin of Halloween
Halloween , with its roots tracing back to centuries ago, draws influence from Celtic harvest festivals of the United Kingdom and Ireland . This festive tradition made its way to North America in the 19th century and has since flourished in popularity, becoming a globally cherished celebration enjoyed in nearly every corner of the world .
From trick-or-treating to spine-tingling costume parties , pumpkin-carving to lighting candles or even bonfires , sharing hair-raising stories to exploring eerie attractions , these traditions have found their way into the hearts and calendars of young and old people worldwide .
Evolution’s Halloween BBQ Party in Barcelona
After a successful summer season that has lasted longer than usual, superyacht crew deserves a well-earned break . Once again, it is the time of the year, where you wonder about the happening of the legendary Evolution’s Halloween BBQ Party, which has attracted more attendants year after year – an occasion not to be missed! .
In collaboration with MB92 and Marina Port Vell , we welcome all Barcelona yacht crew to attend the 10 th edition of the spooktacular party , if you dare.
For another year, you will be able to enjoy a tasty bloody BBQ where Colin will cook his famous homemade sausages ( vegetarian options will be available ) and plenty of magic potions with the performance of a DJ . If you are brave enough to take on the darkest challenge , you can participate in an obscure costume contest with phantom prices .
The contest categories will be the scariest costume , the best handmade costume , the best group costume , and the funniest costume of all.

As a special treat for you, we will be broadcasting the Semi Finals of the World Rugby Cup on a couple of screens, so you can add extra fear to your evening! This won’t be the only surprise of the night, so get ready!

Save the date . Join us on the Friday 27th of October from 20:00 in Nass Beach Surf , just in front of the Barcelona Evolution office . All crew members are encouraged to attend, regardless of the port they are docked at in Spain.

The 10€ ticket includes the entrance to the lair of evil , BBQ , a dancing area , and two magic potions of your taste. Tickets and wristbands are already available from this week for purchase and are required for entry to the event .
